Koyasan monk

Take the middle path between two store fronts and walk till you arrive at the temple. Founded in 1912 by the Reverend Shutai Aoyama, the Koyasan temple is the second oldest Buddhist temple in Los Angeles. Koyasan is a Buddhist Shingon School, of the Vajrayana Lineage, which teaches that we can realize Buddha-hood in this life time. Services are offered in Japanese and English on Sunday morning at 10am. www.koyasanbetsuin.org
