Okay, you need to walk about 20 minutes to get there but it is well worth it. Beverly Hot Springs is the only natural hot springs spa in L.A. proper. The natural artesian well 2,200 feet below ground, springs hot water loaded with minerals. The highly alkaline waters contain radium, sulfur, and sodium chloride. The mineral water helps to restore your PH balance if you're acidic, a symptom of modern stressful living. The waters also help to stimulate your circulation, relax muscles, treat arthritis, high-blood pressure and digestive disorders. Winner of "Best of L.A.", Beverly Hot Springs is also a full service spa offering treatments that you usually find in Korean spas, such as the classic full body scrub. Other services include; bamboo fusion massage, the classic hot stones and deep tissue massage combo, organic deep cleansing facials and wax treatments. If you just want to lounge in the hot springs, the entrance fee is $30 during the week, $40 Fri-Sun; if you get a body treatment they waive the entrance fee.
