Owner Josh Spencer really believes in the future of bookstores; he recently relocated from a cozy 1,000 square foot store to a 10,000 square foot, high ceilinged space in a former bank building. Decorated with a free-flowing sculpture constructed from wire and old paperbacks by a Sci Arc student, the new Last Bookstore carries thousands of used books in a fast-moving stock that is replenished with fresh titles daily. Art, mystery, philosophy, drama, classics, history, sci-fi, occult, memoirs; they're all here in a clean and spacious environment dedicated to serious browsers, eclectic readers and literary archaeologists who thrill over a rare find and a good deal.
