FIDM has one of the largest collection of designer clothes in the country, and they also feature guest speakers on the art and science of fashion design. Upstairs is one of the odder museums in Los Angeles, the aromatic Annette Green Perfume Museum, a one of a kind collection of over 2,000 perfume bottles and fragrance memorabilia. www.fidmmuseum.org |

A celebration of musical excellence. Exhibits and memorabilia, everything from Eminem's hand scrawled poetry to Janis Joplin's psychedelic-painted Porsche. Plus performances and intimate lectures by rock, jazz, blues and other pop music artists. Recent appearances by funk deity Bootsy Collins and Pretenders queen bee Chrissie Hynde were sellouts, so book early. An underappreciated treasure, this is one of our favorite museums in Los Angeles.
