pasadena cal art museum

Devoted to the anything-goes freedom of California art. And we love the beautifully graffitied parking structure (that we won't be needing).

The Bunny Museum

Metro Station: Allen, Gold Line

Walking Distance: 30 minutes/1.4 mile

Bicycling Distance: 12 minutes/1.4 mile

Address: 1933 Jefferson Drive, Pasadena 91104

Phone: (626) 798-8848

Hours: By Appointment Only. You must call ahead. (It's a really long walk, but worth it if you have a bicycle)

In a state known for its oddball collectors and strange museums, the Bunny Museum stands feet and ears above them all. Over 27,000 collectible bunnies under one suburban roof, each one a token of love exchanged by the happy couple homeowners. On the floor, the ceiling, and crammed into every square inch of kitchen, living room and bathroom counter space. The rabbit-rabid host bids visitors goodbye with a chirpy "Have a hoppy day!" Yes, it's been certified by the Guinness Book of World Records.
