The culinary centerpiece of the Mercado la Paloma shopping center, Chichen Itza is not your basic enchilada-taco combo Mexican restaurant. Their Yucatecan cuisine is adventurous and supremely flavorful, with many of the entrees served steaming in banana leaves. We love the Poc Chuc, charbroiled pork marinated in orange juice and spices. The L.A. Weekly voted their Cochinita Pibil one of the best 100 dishes in Los Angeles.
